Opportunity Details
- FTE: 1.00
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, 10-hour shifts
- Location: Ann Arbor

Requirements
- Master's degree Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP, ACNP only)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- State of Michigan License
- 3+ post grad - Cardiology experience required
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Coordinating and integrating all phases of patient care in accordance with physician orders, progress notes, care plans, critical pathways, and managed care guidelines.
- Applying best-practice protocols, evidence-based care standards, and utilization review processes.
- Managing care across the continuum, including patient assessment and education, immediate post-procedure care, and discharge planning.
- Collaborating closely with nursing staff across ICU, progressive, and general care units.
- Demonstrating extensive experience working with physicians in the management of cardiology patients, including clinic visits and appointments, hospital rounds, development and implementation of medical management plans, and ongoing follow-up for patient care needs.
