- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, with on-call coverage (after hours, weekends, holidays)
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Charting System: Epic EMR
CVOR RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or compact state
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
- Ability to float to Main Operating Room (OR) when no cardiac cases are scheduled
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
CVOR Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting with cardiac surgical procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage for after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Float to Main OR when cardiac cases are not scheduled
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
