Description
The Joester Loria Group (JLG) is an award-winning Licensing Agency that represents a portfolio of global powerhouse brands owned by Fortune-ranked companies, including Constellation Brands, Kellanova, Post Holdings, Chiquita, Toyota/Lexus, Eric Carle, Dog Man, Miffy, etc.
Reporting to the Managing Director, JLG is looking for a talented and driven Account Executive who will be charged with proactive outreach to seek new licensing partnerships in numerous categories for each of JLG’s Clients.
Requirements
Job Function:
- Solicit potential licensees and collaborations across specific categories, including consumables.
- Work with client and brand teams to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and prepare sales materials, presentations/decks, and ad-hoc reports/requests.
- Conduct category research and due diligence, identify key players
- Negotiate and finalize deal terms and contracts
- Educate brand teams, leadership, and clients on proposed new business rationale, program fit, and revenue potential.
Requirements
- Approachable team player
- Experience within consumer product licensing, ideally within consumables!
- Experience in structuring business terms within consumer product licensing
- Experience in negotiating contracts
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities for several brand teams and Clients simultaneously
- Self-starter who can adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Solution-oriented and eager to learn and take ownership of multiple product categories
- Position based in NYC, must be able to commute into the office two to three days a week
