Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our School Mental Health Team at our Private School located in Barre, Vermont. This full-time, remote role plays a critical part in delivering comprehensive mental health services designed to enhance the emotional and psychological well-being of our students.

Work Environment
This role is primarily focused on remote engagement, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while remaining connected with the school community and your colleagues. The Hospice Center serves as a support facility where you will engage with students during specific in-person consultations or group therapy sessions, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of students, which involve gathering their personal history and identifying presenting issues and any risk factors.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the mental health needs of students, ensuring alignment with their educational goals and emotional well-being.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapy, to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns.
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing emotional regulation, personal growth, and effective coping strategies for students.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care for students, contributing to a comprehensive treatment process.
- Respond to mental health crises with immediate interventions, employing de-escalation techniques and making timely referrals to specialized care when necessary.
- Provide psychoeducation to students and their families, helping them to understand mental health conditions and navigate available support resources.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to promote collaboration, share insights, and uphold best practices within the School Mental Health Team.
- Keep current with relevant laws and ethical guidelines concerning mental health practices within educational settings, ensuring that all services align with state regulations.

As an LICSW, you will work closely with students from different backgrounds, each facing unique challenges. Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Vermont.

- A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed care principles.
- Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments, diagnosing conditions, and formulating effective treatment plans.

- Demonstrated crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport-building and trust with students and families.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a school environment or educational mental health setting.
- Familiarity with digital health tools and platforms that enhance therapy delivery.
- History of collaboration with educational staff and other healthcare providers to create a supportive network for students.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
