Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work onsite in a lively outpatient clinic setting. The work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured yet engaging work routine. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' movement capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Create customized treatment plans that address the individual goals and progress of each patient.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise programs tailored for orthopedic outpatient care.
• Utilize EMR software, such as Web PT, for accurate and efficient patient documentation and treatment tracking.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on physical therapy practices, emphasizing non-surgical alternatives for pain relief and improved physical function.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting a proactive attitude toward physical health.
• Maintain thorough records of patient interactions and treatment results to uphold organizational standards and support comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population situated in Leesburg and surrounding areas, focusing on individuals recovering from sports injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will require you to adapt treatment plans to address the unique needs and backgrounds of various patients, ultimately fostering a welcoming environment that encourages healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of therapeutic practices.
• Ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for documentation and treatment tracking.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy to support patients effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedic care.
• Proven success in developing personalized treatment programs and achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment, showcasing ability to build relationships with team members.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, reflecting experience and expertise.
