Position Overview

Michigan Heart is seeking a dedicated, highly skilled Non-Invasive Cardiologist to expand our elite physician roster. We welcome applications from both newly graduating fellows and seasoned veteran clinicians looking for a fulfilling, long-term career home.

• Schedule: Full-time, structured to support clinical excellence and a healthy personal life.
• Call & Weekends: Shared, equitable call and weekend rotations.
• Scope: Comprehensive outpatient clinic management, inpatient consultations, and diagnostic interpretation.
• Special Growth Options: Ideal candidates are Level 3 Echo certified, though Level 2 Echo candidates will also be strongly considered. Additional opportunities for advanced imaging and structural heart work are available for qualified candidates.

Typical Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, compassionate outpatient and inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform, oversee, and interpret non-invasive diagnostic procedures, with a strong focus on echocardiography.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams, primary care physicians, and surgical specialists at Trinity Health Ann Arbor.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and peer review.
• Share in equitable night and weekend call coverage responsibilities.
• Optional (for qualified candidates): Engage in advanced cardiac imaging and structural heart interventions based on interest and credentials.

Candidate Qualifications & Ideal Traits

• Credentials: MD/DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Imaging Expertise: Level 3 Echo preferred; Level 2 Echo considered. Advanced imaging background is a plus.
