Were seeking a passionate and driven Full-Time Physician to join our Pulmonary/Critical Care team at Trinity Health IHA Medical Group located in Pontiac, Michigan. Opportunity Details
- Position Type:Full-Time (1.0)
- Schedule: 1:4 inpatient ICU coverage (including weekends); remaining time dedicated to outpatient clinic and procedures.
- Location: Oakland, Michigan
- Specialty:Pulmonary/Critical Care
- Clinical Programs: Participation in regional lung nodule management clinics, supported by new robotic bronchoscopy technology.
- Team Size: Part of a local 4?physician ICU call group and a broader Southeast Michigan team of 15 physicians and 6 APPs.
- Call Requirements: 1:4 call rotation, split into 7-day blocks while rounding in the ICU; overnight call taken from home

Requirements
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine
- Fellowship trained in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, as a Pulmonary consultant, or in the Pulmonary/Sleep office
- Performing diagnostic bronchoscopy, thoracentesis and pleural disease management procedures
- Interpreting pulmonary function tests
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Interprofessional collaboration to advance screening and management of pulmonary and thoracic diseases
