Loyola Medicine and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine seek a full-time Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician to join the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at MacNeal Hospital. This community-based position offers a predominantly clinical practice focused on outpatient pulmonary medicine, inpatient pulmonary consultation services, and critical care/ICU coverage.

The successful candidate will join a well-established pulmonary and critical care program providing comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of respiratory and critical illnesses. Clinical interests may include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer, sleep-related disorders, and other complex pulmonary conditions. Loyola's pulmonary program is recognized for multidisciplinary collaboration and is designated as a Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation Care Center Network Site.

This position is primarily clinical in nature and offers the opportunity to practice within a collaborative community hospital environment while maintaining affiliation with Loyola Medicine and the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Faculty appointment may be available and rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure at the time of hire.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork.
• Interest in community-based pulmonary and critical care practice.
